Today I am going to tell you about where I make my jewellery.
I make it at home on a fairly wide desk. I have a bead board where I lay out my beads for the necklace or bracelet I am making.
This is a close-up picture of some of the beads and tools I use for my jewellery making. It looks quite tidy as I tidied my desk up a bit for this photo so that you could actually see what I use.
I have many more beads and tools that I use depending on what I am making.
At the moment I am working on a wire weaved pendant which I have only just started to make which is why it is not in the picture. I do have one which I have already made which is not for sale and this is what it looks like:
This was my first attempt at wire weaving a cabochon and I made it into a beaded necklace for myself.
I have more cabochon's to make into pendant necklaces and when I have done these, I will be making some wire weaved bracelets.
As I have a part-time job as well as making jewellery, spare time is of the essence. I am at the moment doing a couple of online jewellery courses for the wire weaving which is not as easy as it looks. The end product is worth all the effort though.
Hopefully I will have some made soon for you to look at.
