Book Review of Terminal

Posted on

Today I am doing a book review of a book which I have read recently called "Terminal", which was written by Kathy Reichs and Brendan Reichs.

It is the fifth in the series of a group of friends who are called the "Virals"

This is an excerpt from the first book in this series and I have quoted it from Kathy's website at

"Tory Brennan, niece of acclaimed forensic anthropologist Temperance Brennan (of the Bones novels and hit TV show), is the leader of a ragtag band of teenage “sci-philes” who live on a secluded island off the coast of South Carolina. When the group rescues a dog caged for medical testing on a nearby island, they are exposed to an experimental strain of canine parvovirus that changes their lives forever."

All of these books can be read on their own, you do not have to read the first one in the series first, but I like to do this if I can.  If I like an author, I like to read all of their books.  I especially like books that once I have started reading and are hard to put down. "Terminal" is one such book.

"Terminal" is about a new virals pack who have also been infected by a strain of the supervirus.  This new virus is different to the one that Tory and her friends were affected by and was made by someone that Tory knows. The new virals pack call themselves the Trinity and their powers are stronger than the Virals and they want to destroy the Virals and take over their territory. This story is about how Tory and her friends deal with the new pack and discover who the new pack actually are. There is also a government agency involved but I think I have told you enough.  You will have to read the book yourself if you want to know any more.

The books in their published order are "Virals", "Seizure", "Code", "Exposure" and "Terminal".

You can find the "Terminal" book at where you also have access to her other books.  There is a link to Amazon where you can order this book if you wish.

You can also find these books on Brendan Reichs website at

I have actually read all of these books and would heartily recommend them to anyone who likes a good read.

Please leave a comment below if you would like to comment on my book review and/or if you have read this book or any of the Virals series.
