My Favourite Film

Hello everyone

I just wanted to remind you all again of what my favourite film is which is called Stardust. I have seen this film lots of time but it is one that I will keep watching again and again.

It is a fantasy fairytale with some very well known actors and actresses.    These include Michelle Pfeiffer, Clare Danes, Sienna Miller, Peter O'Toole, Robert Deniro and Charlie Cox to name but a few.

The story starts off with the dying King Of Stormhold throwing his amulet through a window and saying that whichever one of his sons finds it will become King. The amulet happened to knock a star out of the sky which turned into a human girl, and the amulet turns into a gorgeous pendant necklace around her neck.  This necklace with a gorgeous big crystal  in it is very important as you will see when you watch this film.

This picture does not look anything like the amulet and is not the correct colour but it is just to give you an idea what the amulet might look like.

I do not want to give too much away in case you have not seen the film yet but I heartily recommend it.  There are witches using black magic, Princes and a Princess, a unicorn, a flying ship and the music is fantastic. It also has quite a few comedy moments. There is also a love story in it and a surprise ending.

I like this film because it is easy to watch, has a good story and to me it is a feel good film. It is one of those films that you can watch again and again.  I think I have watched it at least twenty times. I love anything to do with fantasy and fairytales.

Can you please leave a comment sharing your own favourite film with me and also let me know if you have watched Stardust.

That sounds like a fab film and definitely one that is right up my alley! Can't believe I have missed it but will keep a look out for it. It's hard for me to name my favourite film but I do love 'A Room With a View' largely because I have always wanted to visit Florence. Thanks for a great post!
